The welcoming space where community gathers. Modern church management software built for the digital age.
An important part of a lot of Christian worship includes praying the Lord’s Prayer, which has a line often translated “thy kingdom come.” When you go back to the original Greek, the word for kingdom is βασιλεία, or basileia in our alphabet.
In Greek, the plural version of basileia is basileiai, a word that appears in some of the oldest books of the Bible in some beautiful ways.
αἱ βασιλεῖαι τῆς γῆς, ᾄσατε τῷ θεῷ,
ψάλατε τῷ κυρίῳ. Διάψαλμα.
Sing to God, O kingdoms of the earth;
sing praises to the Lord, Selah
Psalm 68:32
This is what inspired Basilei.ai: we wanted to create a tool that would equip churches to bring that basileia today.
“If ministry is where our gifts meet the needs of the world, my calling is to help churches do church.”
Karlie is currently finishing her Master of Divinity while serving part-time at her home congregation. Years of hands-on ministry have shown her how church software often creates more meetings than ministry. basilei.ai is her response: a platform that clears technological clutter so leaders can shepherd people.
Before seminary, Karlie earned a degree in anthropology from Cornell University, then built a career in the corporate world—first in data management for a travel software company and later with geoscientists at an oil & gas firm. Those experiences shaped her conviction that thoughtfully designed tools can transform complex operations.
When she is not designing ministry workflows, Karlie is with her husband, Rich, and daughters, Lillie and Catherine, on their small farm caring for horses, cows, goats, chickens, dogs, and cats. Hospitality and community are not just features—they are the rhythm of her life.

Once a year we invite customers to recommend organizations for consideration. While we can’t fund every worthy cause, we steward each recommendation with prayerful attention.
We prioritize theological diversity, financial transparency, and alignment with ethical AI development as we expand our giving portfolio.
Why 10% of gross revenue?
Tithing has always been about first fruits. We measure our giving on revenue before expenses, mirroring the stewardship many churches teach and practice. It keeps our mission in focus even during lean seasons.
How do you choose recipients?
We look for organizations advancing ministry, technology ethics, and theological imagination. As we grow, we consult theological advisors and church leaders to discern where our tithe can make the greatest kingdom impact.
Do you expect anything in return?
No. This is genuine giving, not sponsorship. We do not ask for endorsements, special access, or marketing support—only that our partners continue serving the church faithfully.
What if I disagree with a recipient?
The body of Christ is diverse. We value dialogue and welcome questions when our giving choices stretch across traditions. Reach out—we want to hear how God is moving in your context, too.
